Welcome to the North American Fishing Challenge
NAFC About Event Photo

Adult and Teen Challenge centers across the US and Canada have come together to create an international app-based fishing tournament to benefit fourteen centers with this first annual event.  Fashioned after a very successful fishing tournament in Minnesota, the North American Fishing Challenge will be held on June 19, 2021, and anglers across the U.S. and Canada can fish in their local fishing hole and designate which center will benefit from their fundraising.  Four species will be included in the tournament: walleye, largemouth bass, pike, and panfish (bluegills, crappies, perch, rock bass, and other sunfish); species will be determined by the angler before beginning to fish.

Tournament Director, Bernie Barringer, knows that catching fish during a tournament is important, but he also knows that those who participate in this Fishing Challenge are not just interested in fish.  They want to save lives of those who are facing alcohol and drug addictions through the highly-ranked services of Adult & Teen Challenge.  Through sponsorships and donations from businesses and individuals, this tournament has the potential to raise more than $300,000 this first year!

Thousands of dollars in prizes will be awarded, and a special fundraising prize of a Lund boat with a full electronic package from Minn Kota and Humminbird will be won by one team in the tournament.

All ages and skill levels of anglers from across the U.S. and Canada are welcome!
